My Life in America

I came to America September 2009.
I came here because my father is sick.
Here in America, I live with my family in a big house.
My uncle came to Texas from Saudi Arabia one month ago.
In America, I speak Arabic and I am learning English in school. I made new friends in my class. Julian and Abdullah are my Friends here in America. I play with them during recess. We like to play tag.
I like living here in America, and I like my school. Some times I miss Saudi Arabia, and think about my friends back home.
In Houston it rains all year, even in the summer. But in Saudi Arabia, it rains only during the winter. In America I go to school with boys and girls, but in Saudi I go to an only boy school. My teacher in America is a women, but in Saudi my teacher is a man. In America school is from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in Saudi school is from 6:30AM to 12:00.

For fun, I like to go to Brazos Bend. I see small alligators and one really big one. I also say a snake. It was in the museum part at Brazos Bend and a lady was holding it and the snake was red. I touched it. Snakes do not have ears. I saw birds with long necks and lots of colors.
